The DESCI guidelines provide the basic elements for planning a DESCI training in the school. It is a flexible modular guideline for helping teachers to plan alternating trainings in the schools using the living lab approach, the core of our approach to teaching. It shows sets of modules and methodologies that teachers can adapt to the specific school environment to fit with the needs and desires of people living in their territory. The fundamental idea of this toolkit is to approach teaching in the Alternating Training System assuming that schools become hub of innovation and creativity in their own territory. The school becomes the place in which teachers and students co-create services, products or projects collaborating with enterprises, research centres and end-users Forthat will benefit their society at large in sustainable and financially profitable ways.
